Young Adults Ministry
Who are Young Adults?
The US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) defines young adults as ages 18-35+, single or married. Young Adults are parents, college students, doctors, lawyers, teachers, landscapers, writers, and every other career. Often overlooked are those in the military and prisons. Young adulthood entails four tasks: developing a personal identity, relationships, a meaning of work, and a spiritual life.
Often for young adults, it is very challenging to keep our faith alive in the midst of work/military, family, school and life. Stress and busy-ness pull us away from the intimacy we so desire with our Lord and the Church.

Prayer
Gracious and Loving God,
Help these young men and women to be a light for all the world to see,
Let their light shine for all peoples:
Coming into the room where the disciples were gathered after the resurrection,
Make these men and women bearers of Christ's peace.
Teach them the meaning of what was said on the mountain:
Send them, Father, as you sent your son:
We ask this of you, in Christ's name. Amen.
