Proclaimers of the Word (Readers)
Catholic Men & Women sixteen years or older and have received the Sacrament of Initiation
(Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) and if Married have been Married in the Catholic Church, are eligible for this ministry.
They should participate regularly in the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist and practice their Catholic Faith. A reader should also be a registered member of the parish.
Our mission at the Mass is to proclaim the word of the Lord and act as a bridge between the Scriptures and the faithful. You are committing yourself to the preparation and discipline that enables Scripture to become the living word.
